About Bruce

Bruce is a true native of Martin County, incorporating his experiences and love for Florida in his paintings.

Coming from a family of educators and painters, Bruce continues the family tradition. Most call him 'Coach'. He lives and paints on the Treasure Coast of FL, with his wife, who is also a professional artist.

In 2009 Mr. Wells retired after 39 years teaching and track coach for Martin County.

"My lifetime love of the Florida outdoors is reflected in my art work.

This includes underwater scenes, tropical fish, and Florida landscapes."

Bruce is an avid fisherman and boater. If you don't find him diving for lobster in the Keys, he's at another art show having a good time with his family and friends. Then again he might be painting in Europe.
